The Return to Nazareth

Matthew 2:19-23

19. After Herod had died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt
20. saying, “Get up, take the child and his mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who were seeking the child’s life are dead.”
21. So he got up and took the child and his mother and returned to the land of Israel.
22. But when he heard that Herod’s son Archelaus was now ruler of Judea, he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee.
23. Then he went and settled in a town called Nazareth to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets, that He will be called a Nazarene.
