Jesus Ministry In Galilee

Mark 1:35-39

  1. Then Jesus got up early in the morning when it was still very dark, departed, and went out to a deserted place, and there he spent time in prayer.
  2. Later Simon and the others went out to find Him.
  3. When they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you.”
  4. And He said to them, “Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.”
  5. So He traveled throughout the region of Galilee, preaching in the synagogues and casting out demons.

Luke 4:42-44

  1. Early the next morning Jesus went out to an isolated place. The crowds searched everywhere for Him, and when they finally found Him, they begged Him not to leave them.
  2. But Jesus said to them, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns too, for that is what I was sent to do.”
  3. So he continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea.

Matthew 4:23-25

  1. Jesus went throughout all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of disease and sickness among the people.
  2. News about Him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to Him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed — He healed them all.
  3. And large crowds followed him from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan River.
