Effective Prayer ~ Golden Rule ~ Narrow Gate

Matthew 7:7-11

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.
For everyone who asks receives; those who seek find; and to those who knock, the door will be opened.
Would any of you give your hungry child a stone, if the child asked for some bread?
Would you give your child a snake if the child asked for a fish?
If you then, who are sinful and evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Matthew 7:12

In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfills the law and the prophets.

Matthew 7:13-14

Enter through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the way is spacious that leads to destruction, and there are many who choose that way.
But the gate is narrow and the way is challenging that leads to life, and only a few ever find it.
