About
I enjoy dissecting scripture in different translations; and then reconstructing the passage by choosing the translation for each verse or phrase I believe best represents the original intent of the passage. 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 “Love Is the Greatest” represents a sampling.
I rely on the following versions for most of my work:
- (KJ2000) King James 2000 Version
- (ERV) Easy-to-Read Version
- (NET) Net Bible
- (NLT) New Living Translation
- (NLT 1996) New Living Translation 1996
- (HCSB) Holman Christian Standard Bible
- (NCV) New Century Version
- (NIrV) New International Readers Version
- (TNIV) Today’s New International Version
- (ESV) English Standard Version
- (GW) God’s Word Bible
- (CEV) Contemporary English Version
- (MSG) The Message
- (NASB) New American Standard Bible
- (AMP) Amplified Bible
- (RV) Revised Version
- (BBE) 1965 Bible in Basic English
Since Bible prophecy is subject to interpretation, more than likely I will use one of the major reliable versions for sections involving prophecy. I might do the same thing for most of the Old Testament.
Chuck’s Bible Version is available for download in e-Sword format here ; however, there is currently very little scripture in the file. Whenever I post new Bible content to this website I will update the ” Chucks Version.bblx ” file
Goal: Chronological Order
On this website, (unlike the scripture in the “Chuck’s Version.bblx” file,) my goal is to list each section in chronological order, therefore I edit the post dates to reflect the order I want them to display.
Because of this editing of the posting date, the only way to see what I have added since your last visit is to check out the XML Sitemap which displays the real dates of my last edits.

About the comments
I am sure you have heard about “praying scripture” where you read a passage and then pray the ideas of those verses. I am using the comment area for my personal prayers, therefore they are closed to the public. You are welcome to read them, but only I will be posting comments.
